What we collect

This website does not provide user accounts, purchases, logged-in features, forms, or submissions. The only contact channel is email at hello@cloudeffic.com.

If you accept analytics cookies, Microsoft Clarity may collect analytics data such as IP address, device and browser metadata, page interactions, mouse movements, session replay data, heatmap data, and referrer URL.

If you email us, we collect the information you choose to include in your email correspondence, plus standard email metadata needed to receive and respond to your message.

Why we use it

For Microsoft Clarity analytics, our lawful basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. Clarity only loads after you accept non-essential cookies.

For email correspondence, our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR: responding to enquiries, managing business communications, and keeping appropriate records.

Who we share it with

We use Microsoft Corporation for Microsoft Clarity analytics. Microsoft may process Clarity data in the United States and uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers.

We also use an email provider to receive and send email. We do not sell personal data, use advertising networks on this site, share data with data brokers, or resell visitor information.

International transfers

Clarity may involve transfers from the UK to the United States. Where required, those transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement.

Retention

Clarity analytics data is retained according to Microsoft's Clarity retention defaults. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable record-keeping period after that.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. You may also object to certain processing and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
